La notte dei Grammy Awards rimane sempre uno degli appuntamenti principali del calendario degli appassionati di musica, oltre che degli operatori del settore. Oltre al desiderio di scoprire i look delle star la curiosità di sapere chi porterà a casa quanti più premi è sempre tanta e quest'anno è stato il turno di Bruno Mars di portare a casa sei statuette, vincendo in tutte le categorie in cui era nominato.
Jay-Z si è ritrovato a mani vuote: candidato per ben 8 categorie non ha vinto in nessuna di queste, lasciando lo scettro nelle nomination rap a Kendrick Lamar. L'unica donna premiata della serata è stata Alessia Cara, come miglior artista esordiente; Ed Sheeran ha conquistato due premi nella categoria pop; i Foo Fighters hanno vinto con "Run" come miglior canzone rock e c'è stato spazio anche per uno dei grandi artisti che ci hanno lasciato da relativamente poco: Leonard Cohen ha vinto il Grammy per l'album rock dell'anno, con "You Want It Darker".

Le esibizioni da recuperare per chi non ha passato la notte davanti allo schermo sono sicuramente quella di Lady Gaga, quella di Elton John e Miley Cyrus e quella di Ke$ha che, con Cindy Lauper e Rihanna, si è esibita con "Praying", che in un momento come questo, tra #MeToo e Time's Up, ha emozionato tutti i presenti e non solo. Fa riflettere però che l'unica donna ad aver vinto sia la miglior artista emergente, ma non ci resta che attendere il prossimo anno per vedere a chi verranno assegnati i tanto ambiti grammofoni dorati.
