Beyoncé è appena diventata l’artista più nominata nella storia dei Grammy

Sono state annunciate le nomination ai Grammy del 2023. La Recording Academy ha svelato l’elenco completo dei candidati nella notte italiana tra martedì 15 novembre e quest’oggi, in vista della 65a edizione dei Grammy Awards che si svolgeranno alla Crypto.com Arena di Los Angeles, in California, il prossimo 5 febbraio 2023.

Beyoncé guida l’elenco con ben nove nomination, seguita da Kendrick Lamar con otto. Adele segue con sette, mentre Future, Lizzo e Mary J. Blige ne hanno sei ciascuno.

Le nove nomination di Beyoncé portano il totale della sua carriera a 85, rendendola l’artista più nominata nella storia dei Grammy. Ha superato il marito JAY-Z, che ora si trova al secondo posto con 83 nomination – tre delle quali per il suo verso su “God Did” di DJ Khaled. Con sole quattro vittorie, Queen Bey potrebbe diventare l’artista più premiata nella storia dei Grammy.

 

Nelle categorie rap, Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers di Kendrick Lamar, It’s Almost Dry di Pusha T, I Never Liked You di Future, God Did di DJ Khaled e Come Home the Kids Miss You di Jack Harlow si contenderanno il premio per il Miglior Album Rap, mentre quello per la Miglior Canzone Rap sarà deciso tra “The Heart Part 5” di Kendrick Lamar, “Wait For U” di Future, “Pushin P” di Gunna, “God Did” di DJ Khaled e “Churchill Downs” di Jack Harlow.

Gli astri nascenti GloRilla e Latto hanno ottenuto la loro prima nomination ai Grammy rispettivamente per la Best Rap Performance (“F.N.F. (Let’s Go)”) e per la Best Melodic Rap Performance (“Big Energy (Live)”), mentre anche i veterani JAY-Z, Lil Wayne e Rick Ross sono in lizza.

I fan potrebbero notare l’assenza di alcuni grandi nomi tra i nominati di quest’anno. Prima dell’annuncio delle nomination, Drake, The Weeknd e Silk Sonic (Anderson .Paak e Bruno Mars) hanno tutti rifiutato di presentare il loro materiale da solisti per essere presi in considerazione ai Grammy.

I Grammy 2023 prevedono diversi cambiamenti nelle categorie e nelle regole di eleggibilità. All’inizio di quest’anno, la Recording Academy ha annunciato l’aggiunta di cinque nuove categorie, oltre a un premio speciale al merito per la migliore canzone per il cambiamento sociale, e ha stabilito che gli album devono contenere più del 75% di musica nuova per poter essere presi in considerazione.
